I have used both and both have been very good tools, depending on my diet at the time. Caloriecount.com keeps track of a lot more things, including vitamin levels, but doesn't have too extensive a database for certain foods and exercise. Keep in mind that it being caloriecount, it tracks calories, so if you're on a carb-counting diet, this may not be for you.

I'm currently using loseit.com because the app is so much easier to use and a lot more user-friendly. The database for food seems a lot more extensive and accurate, though it doesn't seem to monitor water intake or vitamin intake at all. The emphasis for this site seems to be a calorie counter as well.

2011-05-31 [Akayume]: Sounds good to me! :D

2011-05-31 [Skydancer]: Neat, one I can give to you right off the bat, is 300 milligrams of powdered kelp every morning, you can put it in something you eat. Seriously helps kick the metabolism and burns weight.

2011-05-31 [Alexi Ice]: O.o Oh! Cool!

2011-05-31 [Skydancer]: I can also suggest you link to http://www.theasummerdeer.com

2011-05-31 [Nioniel]: Thanks, Marion. :)

2011-05-31 [Akayume]: I think this is a great idea, btw. (:

2011-05-31 [Nioniel]: Thank you! :)

2011-05-31 [Skydancer]: To add to your gluten free.
Buckwheat Porridge - ground buckwheat groats or you can get it at most healthfood places already ground.
1 and 1/4 cup of milk or dairy substitute
1/8th teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buckwheat groats
dried fruit if you like, I add either cranberries or blueberries, or add fresh fruit after its cooked. I also add a little to taste of maple syrup while I am cooking it. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer stirring often. Takes between 10 -15 minutes, and makes one healthy serving or enough for two with some rye toast..

2011-05-31 [Nioniel]: Thank you, I'm adding it now!

2011-06-01 [Captain Rachel Black]: OOOO! I have a bunch for healthy skin!

2011-06-01 [Nioniel]: Put 'em on a wiki and link me! :)

2011-06-06 [Nioniel]: Anyone know of a good chilled cucumber soup recipe? I have all these cucumbers and want to make something yummy and healthy out of them. :)

2011-06-08 [Linderel]: I was inspired to take my blood pressure. It was about 98/60.

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: Wow! That seems low (at least compared to my incredibly high BP). :)

2011-06-08 [Linderel]: I guess it's a bit on the low side, yeah. :P

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: Better than high, I suppose. :)

2011-06-08 [hanhepi]: so, if your BP is too low, are you supposed to go on a crappy diet full of salt and beef? and where can i get signed up for that diet?

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: :P

2011-06-08 [9jlriexqk,ktpk]: I have very low blood pressure, but my doctor said it is fine because it does not effect me?

2011-06-08 [hanhepi]: dang. i was hoping that if i got my bp low enough the doctor would say "Mrs. Johnson, you simply must eat more beef fat and salt!". :(

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: If your doctor says that, I'll make him my doctor. <3
